En el estadio Dall'Ara, el local Bologna le ganó por 3 a 1 a Lazio, a pesar de que la visita se había puesto momentáneamente en ventaja con un gol de Sergio Floccari. La remontada rojoazul lleva las firmas de Gastón Ramírez (la figura del match) y Marco Di Vaio (doblete).
De esta manera, el Águila se quedó con 37 unidades y ahora es apenas cuarta, superada también por Roma, mientras que los emilianos, con 25 puntos, alcanzaron la onceava ubicación de la clasificación, que comparten con Parma y Fiorentina (un encuentro menos).
El resultado fue justo, porque Bologna jugó un buen fútbol y supo como abrir la defensa de Lazio, también luego de que la vista intentó defender la ventaja inicial, que había alcanzado al quinto minuto con Floccari: el delantero, en esa ocasión, tiró una gran pared con Hernánes, se metió en el área y mano a mano con el portero definió de interno derecho con seguridad y eficacia.
El 1 a 0 era una buena ventaja, pero Lazio no supo cuidarse como debía, arriesgó mucho en defensa ante los inspirados atacantes rivales, desperdició sus ocasiones y, al final, sufrió el tanto del empate: gran pelotazo de Ekdal para el excelente corte profundo de Ramírez, quien fue hábil en rematar de primera intención para sacar un diagonal de zurda inatajable.
Menos de docientos segundos más tarde, llegó el primer gol de Di Vaio: el atacante ex Lazio la recibió por izquierda, se la llevó hacia el medio y tiró una pared perfecta con Della Rocca, para recibir el pase de regreso prácticamente solo en el área (grave error defensivo de Lazio). Ahí, el goleador de Bologna se sacó de encima un defensor con un gran enganche y, después, remató fuerte al primer palo.
La reacción visitante no se hizo esperar y, antes de que terminara el primer tiempo, Zärate se encontró mano a mano con el portero rival, pero su disparo fue central e inocuo.

Luego, ante las vibrantes protestas de los rojoazules, se puso nervioso, peleó con todos y, al final, se hizo echar por un cachetazo a Giménez (quin había entrado desde el banco para pelearse y terminó por ser expulsado también).
Poco más tarde, los nervios trabaron las piernas de Biava, quien erró un fácil cierre defensivo y le dejó ahí la pelota a Di Vaio, quien con su derecha disparó muy angulado, tanto que el balón pegó en un palo y se metió adentro cerca del otro.
Los muchachos de Reja, ante la inevitable derrota, perdieron la cabeza y, provocados de manera vergonzosa por Rubin, terminaron protagonizando una pelea terrible, capitaneada por un Zárate irreconocible, que ahora por encima arriesga unos cuantos turnos de suspensión.
